For an authentic look into Dauphin’s rich agricultural past, join the Dauphin Agricultural Heritage Club for Threshing Day this fall. Bring a chair and watch the private collection of century-old machinery come alive on the fields at the hands of local collectors. A great event for kids and families to get in on the action, visitors can try their hand at binding and stooking, or relax to old time music with picnic food and friendly folk. Look for the Farmers Market on site with fresh produce and other goods, or let the kids run free in the play area. As it depends on when the crop ripens, the date for Threshing day on the Marzyk farm, 1 km north of Dauphin on Highway 362, will be announced as soon as possible on local media and municipal or RM of Dauphin social media pages.
