Selo Ukraina - Ukrainian Folk Arts Centre & Museum

Selo Ukraina — meaning “Ukrainian Village” — is a cultural centre dedicated to preserving Ukrainian heritage in Manitoba. Located 12 km south of Dauphin on the northern slopes of Riding Mountain National Park, it hosts major events such as Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival and Dauphin’s Countryfest.

The Ukrainian Heritage Village recreates a prairie settlement from 1896 to 1925, featuring authentic pioneer homes, farm buildings, a church, a prairie school, and a general store. Rhodes Hall houses the Ukrainian Musicians Hall of Fame, showcasing records, instruments, and memorabilia. Across the well-kept grounds, visitors can explore antique farm equipment and, during select summer events, enjoy live demonstrations of traditional farming practices.
