Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival is a vibrant family-oriented celebration of the rich culture and heritage of Ukrainian Canadians. An immersive experience with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities for guests of all ages, Dauphins’ strong Ukrainian heritage comes alive every August long weekend at Selo Ukraina, just 12 km south of the community. For over 50 years, with a purpose to maintain Ukrainian heritage and tradition, the festival has shared the rich stories of its culture through music, dance, food, clothing, art and crafts.
